Here at the College & Career Center, our mission is to help each individual student achieve their post-high school goals and provide the resources needed for each Panther to have a successful high school career and life after graduation.

Our College & Career Specialist

Amy Bencomo

Ms. Bencomo has been an active community member with a rich history of volunteering in local schools, county-wide youth initiatives, and international youth empowerment groups. She is a strong advocate for anyone under 25, under-served, or under-represented.

As the College & Career Center Specialist, Ms. Bencomo is enthusiastic about working with teens as they plan for life after Prospect. Students or parents are welcome to email with any questions, comments, or concerns about post-secondary planning.

Kayla I’m going to be a senior! I’m looking forward to eating during class and seeing the creative ways our admin and ASB create a fun school environment, even through Zoom!	Kianna I’m a senior and I love to play soccer and cook. I'm looking forward to sleeping in and helping people access C&CC info and resources this year!	Sarah I’m excited to be a college and career center ambassador as a Junior this year! In my free time, I enjoy baking, painting, and spending time with my dog.
Payal This year I am really looking forward to helping my fellow seniors navigate college app season from home! Fun fact: I am addicted to baking!	Aniket I am a junior and I enjoy playing the saxophone and tennis. I look forward to helping other students during this challenging time as a C&CC ambassador.	Riley I’m excited for the challenging year and using my activities from ASB to Student Board to College and Career to keep people connected when they need it most.
Komi Something I am looking forward to this school year is building the school community despite the unprecedented changes that Prospect is going through. A fun fact about me is that I am fluent in Japanese!	Chaya I’m a junior and I’m super excited to be a college and career ambassador this year! I love to read, dance and cook in my free time!
